"Easily some of the best mexican food I've ever had. I feel like whenever I see a restaurant with few reviews that are all five stars i assume theyre largely from people who know the owners or employees. I am not from the area and I have no affilition with the restaurant and its owners. I actually saw it while trying a different restaurant and was immediately interested. Went back later and was blown away. Their birria is phenomenal and their street tacos are a bargain. They let us sample the premium meats which we had never had before and they're definitely a game changer. The restaurant is clean and has a great esthetic to it. The staff were helpful and inviting. Couldn't recommend the place enough, there's only five stars because you'd have been crazy to rate it less."

"Locally owned, all three locations (Mojave, Lancaster, and Palmdale) are fantastic. For food, I started months ago with the street tacos. They were so good I hadn't branched out to other items (a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush). I have since been trying other items on the menu and OMG the Anaheim Chili Taco is among the best things I've ever ate. Met the owner, Robert, as my parents were visiting from out of state. A very welcoming individual, was more than helpful in discussions of his restaurants and found all items are made in house. He even gifted my mother seasoning for meat as she was headed out to the airport for the return trip home. Love Fatboys Taco, and please support your local businesses."

"Best Mexican food in the AV by far flavor is on point! Went to the Lancaster one last night and was blown Away, took our kids to the Palmdale one the next day. Staff was incredibly welcoming, even let sample the exotic meats they came out with: All excellent also. New AV favorite!"
